Red Bull BC One Cypher Austria

Red Bull BC One has been a staple in the Red Bull event calendar ever since its first edition in 2004 and continues to empower the global Breaking community with over 60 events around the world in 2023 alone. Especially considering the sport’s debut at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, Red Bull BC One might be more relevant than ever before.

For Austria, the Red Bull BC One Cypher marks an annual highlight for the local Breaking scene. In a gripping live show, B-Girls and B-Boys from around the country battle each other to become national champions and move on to the World Finals. This year’s edition took place at the Wiener Werkshallen where 8 B-Girls and 16 B-Boys had to impress the judges with their dance moves in front of 900 spectators on site. With special acts such as a performance by rap group 3310 and a showcase by B-Boys Lil Zoo and The Wolfer, the spectacle was also broadcasted on Red Bull TV and reported on by many national news outlets.

Our team took on supportive roles in the project management by planning on organizing the livestream as well as major roles at the on-site production. As we provided the showcaller, we took care of the smooth execution of the event, by planning the detailed rundown and providing the experienced expertise. Additionally, we created animations for the video wall based on the global graphics package, adapted them for local needs and operated the big-screens at the venue during the show. Finally, our team also worked on creating clip-outs from the show during and after the event.
